Effective Date: May 4, 2026

Pressly Speed Reader is designed to be a private, on-device reading app. App content, reading progress, imported files, and pasted text stay on your device.

Data Collection

Pressly Speed Reader does not require an account, does not use advertising, does not sell user data, and does not collect or upload your imported reading content.

The app may process limited purchase-related information through Apple and RevenueCat to support in-app purchases, restore purchases, verify purchase status, and unlock Pressly Pro features.

Local App Data

Pressly Speed Reader may store reading-related information locally on your device, including imported EPUB, PDF, and TXT files, pasted text, reading progress, app settings, and reading preferences.

This information stays on your device and is not sent to the developer.

Imported Content

Users may import EPUB, PDF, or TXT files, or paste their own text into the app.

This content is stored locally on the device and is not uploaded to a server by Pressly Speed Reader.

In-App Purchases

Pressly Speed Reader uses Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, purchase restoration, purchase verification, and Pressly Pro entitlement status.

RevenueCat may process limited purchase and device-related information needed to provide purchases, verify access, restore purchases, and support purchase-related app functionality.

This may include purchase history, product identifiers, entitlement status, and an app user identifier.

Apple App Store may also process transaction data for purchases made through the app.
